Image analysis: In the beginning of the course, we learnt how to analyse a picture.
To analyse your picture you have to know, the denotation, the connotation, the mise en scene, the angle of the picture.

The denotation of the picture is that students from the media class are posing in front of the school’s gate.
The connotation of the picture is that everyone is posing in their smart clothes, which indicates that they are posing for a fashion magazine for teenagers.
The mise en scene is that in the middle we have the students posing in front of the school’s gate. In the background we have the school building, the playground, the school’s gate and the students, some seating, some standing and one seating by the wall. We can also see a small bit of the monument memorial, which helps as to identify the location of the school.
It’s not a formal picture as some students are leaning on the side of the wall and hugging one another.
