My Contents Page

-I chose to shoot a picture of a Christmas tree to use as my background for my contents page because I wanted to inclede in my magazine something relevent to do with this month. December as it is known to all of us is connected with Christmas holidays so that is the reason I decided to "decorate" my magazine by using as a background in my contents page a christmas tree. Then this help people to identify as well when this issue was published.

-I used dark red colour for my font because the colour red is connected with Christmas holidays and also I made my writting have a bit of movement because I wanted to create the filling that they were part of the Christmas decorations.

- I decided to picture my christmas tree at night because there would be a contrast betweemn the dark background( because the picture is shot at night) and the christmas lights on the tree.

-I shot my picture in Westfield Shopping Centre and that could probably be recognised by most people. Although its a school magazine it needs to be kept up to date not only with the school's news but with things that would interest students so that is the reason I picked that specific location to shoot my picture. Although I shot my picture in a shopping centre I found it irrelevant to include any names of shops and labels as it is not a fashion magazine and there should not be any advertisements on of any shops .


This is an auditional contents page that I made but it could not be included in my magazine because the picture is not shot by me but it was taken from the internet. I still kept the same theme of the winter in my final contents page with the only difference that in my final one I gave it a more Christmas feeling by including a decorated a decorated with christmas lights and not snowy trees only
