Planning the front cover image

1. The font I used for my first masthead it called "Black Oak". I liked this font because it looks as if it is a spray paint; no other mastheads use it. The black oak font will appear to a younger audience that are interested in graffiti and wall paintings. However, I feel that this masthead is quite immature, and would not appeal to older members of my target audience.
2.This second font is called 'Sidewalk'. I chose this font because the letters are quite simple which will not cause confusing, therefore it will not attract the younger audiences attention.
3.This font is called "Trashco". This font is very creative and also has small flowers, birds and hearts in some letters which I think will appear a lot to a specific young target audience. However, it mostly a feminine font which will possibly not appeal to an older audience and to the men that much. It might create the impression that the target audience is women.
4.This final font is called 'Heart rate”. I chose this font as I think it would suit more the name of my magazine, which is called PULSE. The font, as the name of it suggests looks like a heart pulse, so this will suit perfectly with the masthead.
